| Piper PA28 Warrior/Cadet
All training completed during the visual phases flown in Valencia will be on the PA28 Warrior or Cadet. These aircraft are equipped with conventional analogue instrumentation, powered by 160hp Lycoming petrol engines, and have a long established pedigree for ab initio training. They provide an ideal platform for general handling exercises, transition to solo flight and VFR navigation. Full engineering backup for these aircraft is provided locally under approval/audit from Cabair. |

Diamond DA-40 Diamond Star
The College operates 15 new DA-40s all fitted with a Thielert 135hp turbocharged diesel engine. The aircraft is equipped with a FADEC engine/propeller control system operated by a single lever which helps greatly in reducing pilot workload. The whole fleet is fitted with the Garmin 1000 twin screen navigation & avionics system making it the most advanced available for flight training. Pilots benefit from the comfort of wide bucket seats, ample panel space and excellent all-round visibility. |

Diamond DA-42 Diamond Twin Star
The College operates 5 Diamond DA-42 Twin Stars providing the ideal Instrument Rating training platform. This four seat twin engine aircraft will be utilised for CPL skill test general handling and the procedural element of the instrument course - leading to the final Instrument Rating Skill Test. The DA-42 is identically equipped to the DA-40 with the Garmin 1000 instrument panel facilitating a smooth transition to modern turboprop/jet aircraft type rating training.
