Employment Opportunities
Successful graduates may apply for First Officer posts with airlines. Suitable employment opportunities in the tourism industry are also likely to be in areas of operations or marketing in a wide range of organisations, in particular, those in the civil aviation business. Some of the larger organisations in the sector, such as British Airways and BAA plc, offer a limited number of placements on management trainee programmes.
Typical Offer
All students applying for this programme will need to gain:
· Two A Level/Vocational A Level passes C/C or equivalent or 160+ UCAS tariff points, Edexcel National Diploma (Distinction) or equivalent.
· Passes at C or above in GCSE English and mathematics
· ICAO Class 1 Medical certificate (obtained from the Civil Aviation Authority)
· Successful completion of aptitude test
· Mature students will be considered on an individual basis.
