Long gone are the days when airlines would happily sponsor their cadets and cover the full cost of training. Today, if you are lucky, sponsorship schemes may well involve involve some contribution by the airline, and the (almost) guarantee of a job on completion of training. However, for the vast majority of trainee pilots, funding is provided by the students themselves, generous friends, or relatives. HSBC offer Professional Studies Loan to all the students on the First Officer Direct Integrated courses - provided they have passed the pre-entry assessment. The loan is also available to students undertaking Degree courses with pilot training and Helicopter Pilot trainees following the modular route on a fulltime basis with Cabair. |

Once again, as with the First Officer Direct, the pre-entry assessment must be passed in order to secure funding. Funding is considered on an individual basis based on each individuals personal circumstances.Cabair will be happy to arrange meetings at our local HSBC once the assessment process has been successfully completed. Further information can be obtained when attending assessment and during the debrief that follows the process.
